Mr. Kilduff will discuss the following tax issues for consultants:

Kevin J. Kilduff, partner at Foley Hoag LLP, has a broad practice in both federal, state and international tax law in which he advises corporate and institutional clients on the tax aspects of taxable and tax-free mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations and divisions. Many of Kevin's clients engage in international business investments and transactions and seek his counsel in structuring and documenting their cross border relationships. He represents clients throughout their entire business cycle; he assists clients in choosing the correct business entity; he counsels companies throughout their operational existence; and he assists clients analyze various exit strategies. Kevin also possesses a sub-specialty in tax controversy related issues, where he advises corporate and individual clients on matters involving the Internal Revenue Service and many state and local taxing authorities. He also has a background in advising tax-exempt organizations on tax issues and general legal matters.

 

Earlier in his career, Kevin served as tax attorney in the Office of District Counsel, Internal Revenue Service in New York . While there, he represented the Commissioner of Internal Revenue in all aspects of civil litigation before the U.S. Tax Court, primarily in cases involving procedural and substantive tax matters. Prior to joining Foley Hoag, Kevin also served as partner with a national law firm as well as a large regional law firm.

The Consultants Network meeting starts at 6:30 PM.  The meeting location is at Foley Hoag LLP, Emerging Enterprise Center, Bay Colony Corporate Center, 1000 Winter Street, Suite 4000, North Entrance, Waltham, MA. From Route 128 take Exit 27B (Winter Street).  At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Wyman St. At the next set of lights, turn right on Winter St. Stay in the far right lane and continue around the reservoir.  Turn left at Bay Colony Corporate Center.  Proceed to 1000 Winter Street and enter at the NORTH entrance
